Elizabeth has always been fascinated by the human body and the connection between body, mind, and spirit. Even as a child, she knew she wanted to do something that improved other people’s well being. She earned degrees in exercise physiology and education and, along with teaching dynamic and sweaty yoga classes, teaches science at Yankton’s Middle School. “Yoga ‘found’ me while I was working as a personal trainer. I was approached by the yoga coordinator and offered a scholarship to attend a teacher training,” Elizabeth says. “It was an offer I could not refuse and it changed my life.” In 2003, she earned her 200 hour certification at Inner City Yoga in Denver, Colorado and loves seeing others discover themselves in their own practice. Elizabeth is also a wife and mother of three very active boys.
